Founded by Vincent and Jean Baptiste in 2012, the line is based in Paris, and named for a mistress of Louis XV who was a major patron of the decorative arts. Inspired by 18th century book bindings and production techniques, Antoinette Poisson’s collection of printed papers and fabrics are rooted in and emanate old-world charm.

Astier de Villatte was founded in 1996 by Ivan Pericoli and Benoit Astier de Villatte. Each of their ceramics are handmade in Paris of black terra cotta clay with their signature glossy white glaze. Inspired by 18th and 19th century designs, each piece is entirely unique. If you crave more color, peruse John's collaboration with ADV, which marries his distinctive imagery with their signature shapes. Amanda Moffat draws inspiration from classic fabrics and Piranesi sketches for her hand thrown pieces. The blue and white stoneware bowls, plates, platters and vases from her Indigo collection are painted with porcelain and then glazed in her Brooklyn Studio , resulting in finishes that vary from shades of white to smoky grays and rust tones.

Sylvie Saint-Andre Perrin achieves the marble effect of her line of ceramics by a process called ‘terre mêlée’, or stamping, rendering each platter and plate a one-of-a-kind creation. Each color of clay is created by mixing in various oxides that are then swirled and shaped using plaster molds. Her unique pieces are beautiful and functional.
