The Fritillaria chair is based on an original Napoleon III-style pair of chairs that John now owns. Napoleon III was the nephew of the Napoleon that we are all familiar with. This style dates from the mid- to late 19th century, France. This chair has antique brass casters on all legs and is low and deep with classic lines and proportions.
We offer six colors of linen from Libeco-Lagae, a Belgian company that has been making linen since the 1850s. Our range of eight luxurious velvets are a linen and cotton blend, pre-washed for maximum softness. The colors were chosen by John and dyed in Italy.
Lead time for all furniture is 16 weeks, not including shipping time.
*Currently in stock in Velluto Slate, and Pierre Frey “Le Paravent Chinois” in Prairie Black.*
